These residential schools in Igatpuri near Nasik are part of the efforts towards Reformation of the underprivileged children in tribal areas of Maharashtra, IndiaThe schools work towards housing and educating Hearing Impaired and Metally Challenged children and last year a student from here got into ITI College in Pune.Please visit www.punyatma.org for more details.The school has a library and a toy room and as Managing Trustee Mrs Sheetal Pandit told us, “We have lots of cupboards, now we must fill them up.” The library has cushions and rugs where the children lounge around and read.We will be collecting books for children up to the ages of 8 in English.
